Previously held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, this YC Demo Day alternatively took over a big warehouse in San Francisco. Like the day past’s pitches, nowadays’s were cut up across stages (“Pioneer” and “Mission”) walking in parallel — so even in case you had been there, you couldn’t see everything by yourself. We picked our pinnacle ten startups from Day 1 to make it less complicated to preserve up. You can test out our nine preferred startups from Day 2 here.
Here are all the companies launched today and our notes from their displays.
Pioneer Stage:
Split: Split utility bills and other ordinary bills with roommates or cherished ones is a large cache in which one individual has to front the cash, which nags the others to get paid lower back. Yoplait offers virtual debit playing cards that make it easy to break up bills and gather money from customers’ bank bills. YSplit should construct a strong business from the 26 million shared houses in the US by charging merchants a two percent interchange rate. The Juggernaut: A subscription book that specializes in South Asian stories. They hire freelance writers, publish one tale daily, and price customers $five monthly. We wrote about The Juggernaut right here.
