Train services to and from Chennai will be affected on April 13, April 14, and April 15, thanks to predominant engineering work taken up for the commissioning of the Arakkonam-Thakkolam detour line. According to the Times of India, Southern Railways had laid a detour line between Thakkolam and Arakkonam in January; however, the work linking this line with the Arakkonam-Katpadi line was pending. The Southern Railways desires to show off the strength to do this work. The paintings that started on April five are anticipated to be finished on April 15.
