Motors has announced that it will deliver 80 electric-powered buses to the West Bengal Transport Corporation. The order includes forty units of nine-meter Ultra Electric AC E-buses and forty units of 12-meter e-buses, out of which 20 devices of the nine-meter e-buses have already been introduced. The business enterprise has said that the last 20 9-meter electric buses could be added via March 31, even as the 12-meter e-buses will be phased.

The first lot was flagged off using Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and their inaugural journey from Nabanna, Howrah. These 80 electric buses are a part of the agency’s extensive schedule to supply 255 electric-powered buses in 6 cities throughout India. In reality, early this month, the enterprise introduced providing 40 electric buses to the Lucknow City Transport Service. The last towns set to acquire electric buses from Tata Motors consist of – Indore, Jammu, Assam, and Jaipur.
