Tata Motors to supply electric buses to Lucknow City Transport Services

The corporation has said that Tata Motors will deliver 40 electric buses to Lucknow City Transport Services Ltd (LCTSL) in a phased way in four months. “The electric buses are air-conditioned, have cutting-edge interiors, and cozy seats for 31 passengers. As an enterprise first, there can be air suspension for each the front and rear axles to make the journey extra comfy for the commuters,” the company stated in an announcement.

The first such bus was flagged off on February 10 using the state’s Urban Development Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna.

The bus will ply from Alambagh bus terminal to Gomti Nagar, he said.

Manufactured at Tata Motors and Tata Marcopolo Dharwad vegetation, the ultra electric buses could have a journeying variety of 150 kilometers on an unmarried fee.
