The corporation has said that Tata Motors will deliver 40 electric buses to Lucknow City Transport Services Ltd (LCTSL) in a phased way in four months. “The electric buses are air-conditioned, have cutting-edge interiors, and cozy seats for 31 passengers. As an enterprise first, there can be air suspension for each the front and rear axles to make the journey extra comfy for the commuters,” the company stated in an announcement.
The first bus was flagged off on February 10 by the state’s Urban Development Minister, Suresh Kumar Khanna.

We have collaborated with Tata Motors to convey to the human beings of Uttar Pradesh state-of-the-art electric-powered buses on the way to transform the bus journey revel in with smarter, more secure transportation while imparting a smooth environment to the citizens,” Ajeet Singh, joint director at Urban Transport Directorate stated.
He said the bus will ply from the Alambagh bus terminal to Gomti Nagar.
“Tata Motors has usually been at the forefront of the e-mobility revolution, and this order is a testament to our quality-in-class solution tailored for the bus phase in India,” Rohit Srivastava, vice-president and head (buses), Tata Motors, stated.
Manufactured at Tata Motors and Tata Marcopolo Dharwad vegetation, the ultra electric buses could have a journeying variety of 150 kilometers on an unmarried fee.
