A Shreveport baker will try to whip up first-rate cakes worthy of mass manufacturing and national reputation.
Chef Blake Jackson will compete on Food Network’s new truth series, “Bake You Rich.”
Each episode starts with four expert pastry chefs tasked with growing progressive and delectable desserts for the judges. The prevailing dessert can be bought at the Carlo’s Bakery, owned via the “Cake Boss” and host Buddy Valastro. Bake You Rich” premiered on April 14. Jackson’s episode will air at 9 p.M. On April 28 on Food Network.

In 2017, Jackson opened Whisk Dessert Bar at 724 Azalea Dr. Inside the South Highlands community in Shreveport.
