Bushel wins FoodBytes! Food and Agriculture Technology Award

Myriad Mobile’s Bushel gained a prestigious award at Rabobank’s 2019 FoodBytes! San Francisco occasion.

Bushel is a software platform and app launched in 2017 that allows grain elevators and cooperatives to digitally connect to growers and deliver real-time records to inform better business selections. Based in Fargo, N.D., Bushel touts itself as a software program corporation “made up of farm kids.”

Bushel obtained the Food and Agriculture Technology Award at the March event, the fifteenth edition of Rabobank’s worldwide pitch competition and networking platform to help sustainable food, meals tech, and ag-tech startups succeed. Rabobank, a global food and agribusiness bank, in 2015 launched FoodBytes! As part of an attempt to support sustainability and innovation in meals and agriculture.

This year, FoodBytes! Specially centered supply chain food tech startups and ag-tech startups, with waste discount, packaging, transparency, food safety, and sustainable manufacturing innovations. Jake Joraanstad, Myriad Mobile co-founder and CEO, stated Bushel was considered one of more than one hundred fifty companies to apply for participation in FoodBytes! San Francisco is thought one of the handiest 15 selected to wait.

Bushel representatives have met with mentors and investors related to Rabobank.

“That becomes truly exciting and quite treasured for us to understand the market space available,” Joraanstad said.

For the opposition portion of the event, they had 3 minutes to provide Bushel to a panel of judges and hundreds of humans in attendance, observed via a three-minute query-and-solution consultation.
