The Parkersburg Boys and Girls Club is continually impacting the lives of young human beings within the community; according to its govt director, Parkersburg Boys and Girls Club Executive Director, Ben Shuman appeared before the commission on Monday to talk about the services it presents.
Last week, the fee passed a decision recognizing National Boys and Girls Club Week in Wood County.
”The mission of the Boys and Girls club is we’re right here for the youngsters in our community to ensure they become efficient people and have a brilliant course to their destiny,” Shuman said.
The organization has around 1,000 children be part of the club every 12 months, Shuman stated. On any given day, eighty-100 kids are at the membership all through after-school time.
Around ninety percent of these kids come from Wood County.
